A New Era of Electric MPVs

The automotive industry is continually evolving, and the latest innovation to capture the public's imagination is the LEVC380 electric MPV. Drawing inspiration from the aerospace giant Airbus, this vehicle is designed to accommodate up to eight people, making it an attractive option for large families and group travels. But what makes the LEVC380 stand out in the crowded electric vehicle market?

★ Convenient boarding: Despite a height of 1.94 meters, boarding the L380 is not difficult. The first reason is the two-step platform with a B-pillar handrail, making it easy to get in. Second, the second-row doors have a wide opening of 89 centimeters, allowing easy entry even for larger individuals. The middle aisle of the second-row seats is 200mm wide, facilitating easy access. With a height of 1.94 meters, moving inside the vehicle is comfortable. A person with a height of 175cm can easily walk between the second and third rows by slightly lowering their head and bending their waist.

★ Equal treatment for the second and third rows: The L380 provides features typically found in the second row of MPVs to a large extent in the third row as well. The independent aviation seats have similar materials and padding as the second row, including leg rests. The backrest can recline up to a maximum angle of 172°. While the third row lacks features such as massage and armrest screens, it offers heating and ventilation through fan-style air vents. Since the third row shares the same 1.9-meter slide rail with the second row, the legroom in the third row is almost equivalent to that of the second row, truly making it comparable to a second-row experience.

★ Versatile space: MPVs are commonly known for accommodating 6 or 7 passengers, but the L380 can seat up to eight people with its maximum four-row configuration. The fourth row utilizes magic seats that can be used in an upright position or folded backward, allowing the space below the luggage compartment to be utilized when not in use. In addition to the four-row eight-seat configuration, removing the third and fourth rows transforms it into a large space with four seats. The second-row seats can be turned to face the third row, enabling various possibilities.

★ Enjoyable driving: It is often said that MPVs are better for passengers than for drivers, but the L380 doesn't disappoint the driver either. The L380 features a dual ball joint design for the front MacPherson strut, enhancing maneuverability. The steering feel is similar to that of a mid- to large-sized SUV, and with the 400kW power from the dual motors, the 5.3-meter length and 3-ton weight have no negative impact. It provides a pleasant driving experience.

★ Comfortable seating: A fundamental requirement for an MPV is comfortable seating, and the L380 excels in this aspect. Even at high speeds, the second and third rows offer strong isolation. The first layer features air suspension and CDC vibration filtering, the second layer has a completely flat floor for additional filtering, and the third layer has 15mm memory foam for further cushioning. It provides advanced filtering for bumps, jumps, and uneven terrain.

★ In addition to the aforementioned experiences, the L380 also offers modern features such as smart cabin and intelligent driving. The infotainment system is supported by Flyme Auto, with dual Longjing I processors from EcarX. The six-audio-zone voice recognition not only responds to calls from the third and fourth rows but also incorporates SenseTime AI for a wider range of question and answer scenarios. While the intelligent driving feature is at Level 2 for assisted driving, it includes infrared night vision redundancy, demonstrating good resistance to environmental interference.
